General Fishing Information

WEATHER PROBLEMS
Ship captains have a great deal of experience judging local area weather conditions. They will not take you out in unsafe conditions. However, fishing can be successful in rough conditions. If unsafe water or weather conditions exist on the morning of departure, the fishing fleet manager or Port Captain will let you know, and you may reschedule your fishing charter or cancel it for a full refund. Note: only the fleet manager or Port Captain can make the decision not to allow fishing due to unsafe conditions.
BILLFISH
Only one billfish or marlin can be killed and brought aboard the boat. You can then catch and release as many as you want. Some boats allow you to tag your billfish. Cleaning billfish is NOT included in the charter price. This is done at the main sport fishing dock when you return, and is subject to the prevailing rate on the dock.
ARTICLES LEFT ONBOARD
It is the responsibility of the customer, not Earth, Sea & Sky Vacations or the crew, to ensure that you have collected your personal items when you depart.
GRATUITIES
Please tip the crew for their hard work at the end of the fishing day. We recommend 10-15% of the charter price. Pay your tips directly to the boat captain, who will distribute shares to the crew.
